IRON ASCEND

Privacy

Last updated 7 October 2026

Iron Ascend is the app your gym uses for the day's workout, your results, your rank and class bookings. This page explains what data it holds about you, who can see it, where it is kept and what you can ask for.

Who is responsible

Your gym decides what Iron Ascend is used for and is the data controller for your data. Your gym signed you up and can tell you about its own rules.

Triple Arm Technique ApS makes and runs Iron Ascend for your gym as its data processor, under a data processing agreement. We only use your data to run the app for your gym.

Who can see it

Where it is kept

All data is kept in the EU. The app runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Helsinki, Finland, and encrypted backups are kept at Hetzner in the EU. Emails such as your invite are sent from our own mail server. Nothing is sent outside the EU.

How long we keep it

Your rights and deleting your data

You can ask to see the data held about you, get a copy of it, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how it is used, or object to it being used. To delete your account and data, or for any of the other requests:

If you think your data is handled wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.

Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Access inside the app follows your role at the gym. Passwords are hashed, the server is locked down and only reachable through encrypted connections, and backups are encrypted.

Changes

If we change how your data is handled, we update this page and the date at the top.
